In the past decade, the AM335x chip, as a classic industrial MPU product of TI, has occupied a mainstream position in the industrial processor market. With personalized hardware resources such as GPMC high-speed parallel port and PRU coprocessor, it is widely welcomed by users in fields such as industrial control, energy and power, rail transit, and smart healthcare. With the rapid development of information technology, TI pushed through the old to bring forth the new and released a new generation of 64 bit MPU general industrial processor platform - AM62x, which is used to meet the Functional requirement of AM335x users to achieve higher performance. AM62x is a new generation of high-performance and ultra efficient processor for TI in the field of intelligent industrial control. The AM62x processor is equipped with Cortex-A53 up to 1.4GHz CPU, Cortex-M4F @ 400MHz, 3D GPU graphics accelerator, support for OpenGL 3. x/2.0/1.1, Vulkan 1.2 graphics acceleration engine. In addition, this microprocessor is equipped with 16 bit DDR4/DDR4L dynamic random access memory, camera interface (MIPI-CSI), display interface (2-way LVDS/RGB Parallel), USB2.0 interface, SDHI interface, 3-way CAN FD interface, dual gigabit Ethernet interface (TSN), making it particularly suitable for applications such as industrial human-machine interaction (HMI) and embedded devices for power control.

AM62x processor as TI Sitara ™ The new generation MPU product in the product line has higher performance and scalability compared to the previous generation classic processor AM335x, and will continue to replace AM335x for the next decade! Compared to the AM335x, the new AM62x has new features such as multi-core heterogeneity and a main frequency of up to 1.4GHz. Its CAN, GPMC, and Gigabit Ethernet interface performance has been greatly enhanced to meet the needs of customers for high-performance processors.

The MYC-YM62X core board is based on the TI AM62x processor and adopts a high-density high-speed circuit board design. It integrates circuits such as AM62x, DDR4, eMMC, E2PROM, PMIC power management, etc. on a board size of 43mm * 45mm. MYC-YM62X has the strictest quality standards, ultra-high performance, abundant peripheral resources, high cost-effectiveness, and long supply time, making it suitable for the core board requirements required for high-performance intelligent devices.


The TI AM62x series products offer multiple processor models, including different models such as AM6254/AM6252/AM6251/AM6234/AM6232/AM6231. Mill has designed pin compatibility for the core boards of the three AM62x series. Customers can switch between single core, dual core, quad core/GPU functions based on performance and specific scenario requirements, without the need for secondary hardware development.

Mill provides a supporting development board based on the TI AM62x core board, using 12V/2A DC power supply, equipped with 2-way Gigabit Ethernet interface, 1-way USB2.0 protocol M.2 5G/4G module interface of B-type socket, 1-way SDIO protocol WIFI/BT module on board, 1-way HDMI display interface, 1-way DUAL LVDS display interface, 2-way LVDS interface, 1-way audio input/output interface, 2-way USB HOST Type A, 1-way USB OTG Type-C interface, 1-way Micro SD interface 2-way RS485/CAN FD with Galvanic isolation Phoenix terminal interface.


Mill is based on the TI AM62x development board - MYD-YM62X, providing rich software resources to help customers achieve product development as soon as possible. At the time of product release, you can obtain all Linux BSP source code and rich software development manuals after purchasing.


Myir image core: A concise, fast, stable, real-time system defined by Mill. It is an image built with Yocto, which does not include GUI interface, but includes complete hardware drivers, common system tools, Debugger, etc.


Myir image full: a full-featured image built with Yocto, including all complete hardware drivers, commonly used system tools, Debugger, etc. It supports the use of shell, C/C++, QML, Python and other application development environments.
